haven't really done anything with the truck just been driving it.

its gunna cost me probably 6-7k to torqstorm supercharge it.

i haven't looked at any used, the whole kit only costs like 3200 bucks. its just the tuning and injectors are expensive, then you have the little random parts intercooler map sensor etc

IRL it looks a lot cooler with the current setup

i bought a trinity ex programmer and uploaded their tune and transmission tune, and turned off MDS, raised speed limit etc all the gay stuff taken off as much as i could

went to the drags

ran low 14s @ ~97mph stock
13.7@100.4mph with tune for some reason it hooked well for a couple runs and had a 2.0 60ft

best launch was just let off brake and stomp it with tc on. it didn't break traction ONE time and ran 2.0 60-ft

i tried to lean on the brake a tiny bit and raise the rpms and it didn't keep traction on the next run

i was having some hideaway subs put in the truck and they mistaken a side air bag wire for some other wire and when they turned it on it blew the driver side airbag off lol.

they have to have the truck for about a week to replace the parts and put it back together. sucks lol

Got some long tubes for Christmas attempting to put them on.

Not the hardest but not super easy lol

I have to fab my own y pipe

I cut off the flange and doing it LS1 style with band clamps

got the passenger side header on, and got the o2 extensions on.

whoever thought it was a good idea to put the o2 sensor plugs on top of the transmission with little to no slack in the wiring should be kicked in the nutz

the oil dipstick was kinda a pita to put back in

going pretty smoothly though none of the bolts were even remotely like they were stuck in the head, the gaskets looked new so maybe it leaked before

i fabbed up a y pipe, its tac welded. i'm going to weld it together tonight need to take a break

I didn't even notice until I was putting the driver's side inner fender on how close the steering shaft was, it clears the header runner by millimeters but it seems fine.

I also installed that header without disconnecting the shaft

My wife didn't realize how much goes into making long tubes work correctly on fuel injection lol

I have a Diablo sport tuner but I'm going to need to buy some hptuner credits and sell the Diablo tuner

Im getting the O2 codes about response time, I can change the timing or disable the codes I have the old mpvi device so hopefully I can still do that I know recently they changed it so you cannot disable emissions codes

The rear O2 are fine with the spark plug anti foulers so far

Also it has a tiny maybe 6-8" long straight through "Muffler" which basically doesn't do anything so I get the headers + no cats horrible smacking exhaust sound at part throttle which I know was going to happen.

I have a 3" in/out flow master super 40 I took off my turbo Dakota I'm going to put on

With the flow master it will sound really good

I had to buy 6 credits ughggg 2 for the pcm and 4 for the tcm. Annoying. But whatever

I changed the O2 response timing but I also disabled all the relevant O2 codes

so i got the muffler on sounds good out of the exhaust but i still get some slapping or clacking or whatever noise you want to call it coming from under the truck.

i think its coming through the cheap amazon y pipe i used, it seems to have some thin metal and i can hear the slapping exhaust through it, it sounds terrible and like a huge rattle.

i have some exhaust wrap left over from my last turbo kit, so i'm going to wrap the y pipe with it and hopefully dull the sound.

i have read a little bit on the interwebs about how this heat wrap deadens noise somewhat. we'll see. it sounds like shit when i hit a certain RPM and the slapping starts. also i just generally hear the exhaust more than i was expect even from thin walled headers.

its normal to hear more exhaust noise through headers, but this is a lot more.
