interesting you didn't explode the spider gears like i did, but instead went straight for the FD.  by the way i have an extra 4.25 setup if you need it, diff and all

its possible.... it smashed this ring gear the weekend i put the limiting straps on... and it broke nice and hard...didn't even roll out of the beam.  but to the point the slicks weren't balanced, so tire shake is possible, no wheel hop.

but i'm pretty sure the backup tranny just broke the diff pin/spider assembly. 

I have also lended my thoughts to the idea that welding the diff with the ring gear on brittled that bitch up... still rock solid gear set, thanks again chad.

well after 17 years, honda still has OEM propriety rights on their bearings, it pisses me right off you shouldn't be allowed to do so for so long.I mean its a 12$ shielded roller bearing MAYBE if that!  FUCKING smart business men, dammit.
