rhmt banana shake/strawberry smoothie
« on: June 22, 2009, 09:37:26 PM »

now added strawberry smoothie!

grocery store special on over ripened strawberries = .99 cents!!!!

enough to make 5 cups or more of strawberry smoothies... cant beat that anywhere else!

id usually buy alot of them and wash/freeze them then take em out the freezer and hit em in the blender for an instant Slurpee/smoothie type deal.

for a strawberry smoothie you will need
strawberries
water
sugar (optional... lol again i drink it without but my sisters like it with)

strawberries!

cut and washed!

returned into tray and then rewashed!

dump into blender add sugar if you want (i didnt)

will it blend?

done! and this shit is awesome.

get tired of throwing away those over ripened bananas that no one wants to eat? FREEZE THEM!!! and keep them for a later day to make a banana shake

you will need
milk
bananas(fresh or frozen over ripened anything that isn't green.. it will taste like shit if you use a banana that hasn't ripened enough)
sugar if you want (i drink it without but my sisters like it with)

this picture looks nasty.. but tough shit.. it shows a frozen banana.. and a frozen banana that i put in the microwave for 5 seconds, and a fresh banana

milk! can use non fat if you want it ends up tasting the same... uhh i used 2%

bananas on a plate (just so you can see them)

usually 1 banana per cup and a half of milk...

add sugar if you want and blenddddd

pour and enjoy (usually comes out white but one of the bananas i used was wayyy over ripened.. again it all tastes the same.. looks don't matter..) and btw it tastes just like a vanilla shake in my opinion

Sounds tasty as hell I used to make shakes with

Strawberry protein powder, fruit punch gatorade mix, frozen berry mix (strawberry, rasberry, and some dark berry),  Milk and or ice cream, blended is freakin delicious
