who knows there ford fuel management?
« on: July 07, 2009, 11:04:51 PM »

So lets say a guy needs a 302 fuel injected explorer for a new winter beater but with a little boost. What can a guy do for management? Keep in mind no dynos or tuners local and it must be on the cheap.

i don't know shit about domestic tuning, but if you can back off base timing about a degree or 2 you would be fine with low boost. of course you would have to play with the gaps on your plugs until its to your liking.

Iirc I read something about it on moates.com, if not maybe the sct tuner thing would work for it.

twEECer

One of the cars at the shop lost an engine due to a TwEECer RT board deciding to unflash itself when he was halfway to NY.  That sort of glitch is a recurring theme.

I'll have an eec tuner for sale on the cheap soon.  You're going to want to find a copy of PCMX too.
