Wiring Vacuum advance to OBD1 *NSFW*
« on: July 25, 2009, 06:46:02 PM »

So, I have a '86 CRX Si in my garage that needs to get moving before my lease is up in sept. I have a dizzy adapter, obd1 dizzy, P05 ecu, and obd1 engine harness. Here is the dilemma, I need to know what wiring I need to change to make this shit work with the existing main harness.

I can't find a wiring diagram for a '86 Si but I did find one for an '87 Civic (FI). Do they use the same wiring? Do I just cross reference the sensor wires from the main harness diagram for the 1g to the ecu pinout schematic for the OBD1? I can't find any information about converting an EW4 to OBD1, any help would be appreciated.

I'm also having a hard time figuring out how to wire in the distributor? I guess I need an obd1 ignition coil as well and that wires in from the dizzy through the relay box to the battery? fuck, I need someone to draw me directions in crayons.

How much different is the Accord wiring harness from the Civic? I can't find a complete main harness for a civic anywhere but I did find one for an Accord ('93). Are they the same? I know the pinout for the prelude is the same as the civic but is the Accord?
