Seriously what the fuck happend to hiphop. I was bored at work and was flipping through the radio and said fuck i havent heard the hiphop station in 5 years, i wonder what theyre playing, It was some dumb chimputerized voice singing some shit about taking some bitch shopping and to the bahamas.....

What the fuck..... It used to be about fucking bitches, smoking blunts and getting paid.

Now its all gay and shit and mother fuckers are rapping aout taking bitches out to eat, shopping and vacations.... WTF.,....

thank god I only listen to shit from the 90's, todays music sucks assss.

Whatcha mean you bet? Its exactly what happened. dude sees "Maketability" in a face, not an act or talent or anything like that. Then they figure out what angle/market to make them appeal to. change names to something Hip and edgy (april - Avril or whatever) and then pay to have their songs played on affiliate radio stations.

Hip-Hop for the most part is dead, it's now Hip-Pop. I don't listen to the radio much, usually just play off my iPod (which was free, fuck paying for an apple product). As soon as I noticed all these dumb asses singing that Superman song by wanna be Soulja Boy (or however the hell he spells it) and then heard the song I knew it was indeed the end of a genre.

It all went downhill after Eazy died. Nowadays you can't hear a cd that's just artist and not guest appearances with half of the industry. I was listening to Paid in Full and it was Rakim and Eric on the wax. What else did you need? What I miss also was the heavy sampling of the 90's compared to the shit nowadays that sounds like something you could of made from pressing buttons on your phone. Yeah their making their own beats and everything now but damn. What happened to two turntables and microphone. Not a microphone and laptop.
