The word sanz (with an s at the end) is filtered because it's a bit pretentious.  Most people just use the word "without"... means the same thing but less fancy.

i have a marantz old school receiver, jog dial and everything. really great sound. my dad gave it to me when i moved out.

my setup
32" 720p lcd (best buy house brand)
7.1 onkyo theater in a box system (actually VERY good)
HTPC (actually just a gateway 3.0ghz p4 ht wireless mouse and keyboard)
xbox360

when i finally finish my basement all will be moved down there, and i will be purchasing a 720p native resolution projector, probably an infocus or optima.

btw, those homemade speakers are bad ass. parts-express??

Here's the free 32" ILO/AKAI/bottom end Samsung that I just fixed.

That strip along the bottom of the TV?  There are a couple of speakers there.  It's like being in the theatre.    O0

one day im gonna gank my dads Marantz

I've got 4 marantz SP800 speakers (old as hell, 8in woofers, 4in mids, 2in tweeters).  Only two in my dorm at the moment.  Also have a pair of bigass Fisher floor speakers from the 80's.  Not sure if I'm gonna grab the marantz or the fishers to add to my system.

Its running off a shitty old Aiwa reciever and a car audio amp (also shitty).

For TV I've got a 27in olevia 720p connected to my dell laptop with HDMI.  Tons of movies stored on an external drive, and basically any other one I'd ever want is on my college's local file-sharing network and takes about 10 minutes to download.

Its a ghetto mix of stuff I grabbed out of my basement/garage, and is still way better than most people's stereos here.
