no real update really. ive been busy with other cars, school and work, so im a bit behind at the moment. owner of the car picked up new carbon body work for it (doors, front end and lexan door windows) as well as a k20a core to swap the head over and go to a bigger set of bump sticks and a bigger shot of spray.

once its back at my place, ill take some updated pics of it along with the new parts for you boys to see and we'll go from there.

I have heard that the FJ60 and the mini truck axles have interchangable parts, was wondering if anyone new if this is true and what parts are.  I know the FJs axles are a 9" center section but I heard the steering arms are the same, one of the axle shaft and the birfs are the same, anyone know anything else???  Thanks the new guy Crusty.

wow long fucking time since ive updated this thread. Well anyways here we go.

Finally got the brakes sorted out in the thing. Had to bleed them a goofy way but i have a steady pedal now. I still have a odd 5500 rpm rev limit for some fucked up reason, i suspect the VSS took a shit and causing all the headache.

Waiting on a new wiper motor and other little odds and ends, but the thing rips and is a blast to drive. i gotta find some better shocks for the rear though. Owner is a little on the pigish side and well you hammer it into a corner and the rear likes to sit on the tires. Either that or i go to stiffer rate springs in the rear.

ill get all that sorted out in the spring time.

Thanks to all the nogs that helped me with it. Long fucking time but its outta my shop finally.
