Figured Id share...
Worked friday as usual 8-6, went home finished the wife's car (put a new cam in it) got a shower and rolled out...
Hit up Joey (papercuts) in Albany, GA around 9 or so, he got me hooked up with his boy Jason for a tattoo. Cool dude BTW
Rolled out of Albany around 12:15, drove till 3am, and pulled over for some rest somewhere close to the FL/GA line
Hit the road again at 5:30
Arrived for breakfast in Orlando at 8:30am Met up with a friend hung out for a couple hours, rolled out to Cocoa Beach to get a room.
Arrived at the first hotel, counter person just told the dude in front of me they had no rooms, so I went back to my car, went to back up... No reverse, broke the shift cable. Fucked around for 3 hours trying to make the fucker work, wasnt happening, jammed it in 3rd and rolled back to Orlando to meet my friend again.
Found a sleezy room in Bithlo outside Orlando. took a short nap
Met up with her at Chili's, She bought my dinner... Took her back to the crappy ass room and hooked up... dropped her off to her boyfriend about 3am... lol
(all done in 3rd gear)
went back to my crappy room and slept till about 8am, filled the MR2 up and hit I-95 north, pulled over and poped it up in 5th, left it in 5th the 8 hour trip home, smoked the fuck out of the clutch... been in the car for 7 years now, so I had my doubts, but I made it home somehow around 5PM
Life is fun without the wife...
