I believe this is what you want:

My name is Rhett, i'm from Texas and I drive a 2000 Prelude. Full 3'' exhaust, CAI, skunk2 intake manifold, auto to manual transmission swap, seibon cf hood, balance shaft deletion, power steering deleted, wire tuck in progress.

3'' is effective on the larger displacement Honda motors (i.e. 2.2l-2.4l etc.). I also wanted to give a big "fuck you" to the people who said it wouldn't work as well as a smaller diameter exhaust would.

I have a 6.5l duramax turbo in the garage, i'm in the process of building another motor for a 01 prelude shell i'll be picking up next week.

Looks nice...and slow.
I'm running consistent 9.8s in the 1/8th un-tuned, my best is a 9.73. Once its tuned i'm going to be running a direct port 75 shot

3" exhaust is good for MAYBE 4 WHP on the top end sacraficing low and midrange tq. Ask me how I know..

Im sure your car sounds like shit, and the fact youre proud of a 9 second eigth is evidence enough any attempt you try to muster after this will fail as well...

lol your car is slow and loud
slow yes, loud, not really, my exhaust basically is a shit dc header, into a 2.5''-3'' conversion TP, Kteller 3'' piping kit, 2 12'' flowmaster resonators and a vibrant flat black muffler, its louder than stock but, a much quieter and lower tone than most of the other catbacks that are offered.
So is it a duramax turbo or a 6.5L diesel turbo? Fuck it they both suck. Welcome I guess.
sorry its the duramax turbo from the 6.6l. it was a typo. also the turbo was free, so I cant really complain about the quality

who said i was proud of the time? its not a drag car, its a near 3000lb front wheel fucking drive tank. I take it to the track for fun not for bragging rights. I merely posted the time so you can see how fast it is, or isn't.

 How do you know?
I dynoed before and after the exhaust, it went from 158whp(stock) to 169 stock intake, only header and exhaust. I'll see if i can find the dyno printouts when I get home.

Since all exhaust harmonics end shortly after the collector what you are describing is a tuning problem not how engines work.  Quit spreading inaccuracies because you have to feel brighter than someone nobody's heard of on the internet.  This n00b may not know shit about cars but he brought us some solid porn without any drama and knows that we really don't want to hear about bullshit which is why he's not whoring up ten other threads like he's found a second home without earning his membership here first.

its on preludepower.

As for you 98vtechomo...  Until youve built anything thats actually boosted that makes power period... Maybe we should continue to play nice... After all, the only one swallowing here is you.... :-*

Id rather push the 4 door than drive a 5th gen Lude, let alone one that sounds like shit and is even slower than it sounds.
