The best crock pot recipes are made up on the fly and never reproduced.

Basically open up your fridge/cabinets and say, hmmm, what would taste good in a stew...

The higher the number of ingredients, the better it will be.

Must have cornbread with it. Buy a box of Miracle Maize mix, add a extra egg or two into the batter FTMFW!

how old should the brats be when they are "kidnapped" before cooking?

3-5 year olds  provide the most meat but still are tender when roasted on a open pit.

Velveeta is disgusting.  When I say disgusting, your mental image should be of Johnny describing an Obama voting welfare recipient that is not of whatever racial minority he approves of this week.

Corned beef and cabbage.

Just kidding... it's a staple, not a favorite.

I like throwing pork in the crock pot for several hours, tearing it up, mixing it with BBQ sauce and making sandwiches (with hamburger buns).  Easy & delicious.

My wife throws a can of ginger ale or some kind if pop in with the pork when it's cooking.  Says the hardest part of the meal is separating the fat when you tear it up and yes it's fucking good

place cutup potatoes in crock pot
empty 4-6 cans of Coors dry (or what ever crap beer you would normally not drink but has some flavor)
Let simmer for 1-2 hrs. (depending on size of pot)
drain beer out
break up potatoes but not mash them up too much
then cutup some celery and 2 sweet onions
add in some cooked ham, beef, bacon, or what ever meat you want. (just a little bit)
add some water to cover every thing
add 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
simmer for another 1-2 hrs.

Cool thing about this is I can eat this and still have plenty left over because most of my family do not like potato soup. ;D

Which means leftover and I notice this stuff tastes even better the second time the crock pot is turned back on.

Interesting... I'll have to try that.  Separating the fat can be a pain in the ass.

one roast pork or beef
i packet of au jau and any other seasoning you can think of
one onion
3 taters
some baby carrots
and serve it over rice

i used a steak rub on the beef roast last time with some flour then seared it on all sides in a hot skillet before cooking, then added the stuff above. turned out pretty good
