so last weekend me and a friend were wrestling and i got owned by an arm bar. since then my elbow is a little swollen and hurts to extend all the way and hard to carry heavy things and cant use it to eat. i have no insurance and no job to pay for a ER visit. should i go and just say screw it when the bill comes or see if they have some sort of bill paying genie for broke nigs? i was thinking it would get better after a few days but its been a week and it doesnt feel better at all. i was thinking it might just be a sprain to the ligament but dont know anything about medical shit. anybody have this happen before?

I would put it in a sling and keep it completely immobilized... don't try to carry ANYTHING with it.  If it's a slight tear, it'll get better.  If it's completely torn, you'll need surgery.  Unless you see a doc, only time will tell.

i wouldnt worry about it. just keep up normal life. i had bad sprangs that have lasted a month or two put it always ends up going away

maybe ill get an elbow brace type thing, like the neoprene? and maybe those icy hot stick pad things and hope for the best. ive really tried to not use it much but its not working, have alot of stuff to do and have my kids this weekend. my 3 year old doesnt really understand or remember that it hurts but my 8 year old is being pretty helpful.

a sling is the win, key it strapped to you tight and dont move it. n after a while you will be fine.

When i tore a ligament in my ankle I was in so much fuckin pain it wasnt funny and my ankle  looked like hotrex's arms. Needless to say I was in a cast within a  couple hours. The x-rays bending it to get the correct angle was uber painful.



I have had sprains last months doctors cant do much for them except tell you not to put pressure yada yada.


My right ankle that tore the ligament is fucked for life I cant play basketball for more than an hour or so without pain.

Goto the er.  Act like your man threw you down some steps and you're not all together.  Fill out the info incorrectly but in a fashion that is believable(i.e. old address that's a few numbers off, a couple numbers wrong w/your social security number, spell your last name slightly wrong...).  This way you'll have a chance at the bills not making it back to you...  and next time have his dinner ready when he gets home from work.

Question.  Is it swollen above the joint, like just above the elbow on the shoulder side?  If so, hydrate and it will get better.  Don't ask, just do.  And if you go to Dr. and they tell you some enzyme in your blood is retard high, ignore them and hydrate.
