Forza 3
« on: October 04, 2009, 02:46:54 PM »

Anyone buying it?
Already Played the demo looks real promising, seems like customization is endless, and its 2 disc this time with over 400 cars.

Yeah, I'll probably buy it.  Forza is pretty much the only racing game I'll play.

Will probably acquire it.

I thought the auto-brake feature is pretty gay.  Now they just need auto-steer and all you'll need to do is hold the gas ::)

NFS has been "fake" since it came out a looooooong time ago.  It's tried to compete with Gran Turismo and Forza lately but never will success.

favorite game is GT4, played forza some but i didnt get the feeling of differentness between the cars. like in gt4 you can tell the difference in the way a car handles, over/understeer feels right-i didnt get that same sense from forza.
being said i am buying a ps3 just for gt5

thats the reason i got on soon after release thinking GT5 is launch title few years later. . . lol

i too agree the one thing i dont like about GT4 is how the cars perform once sliding in a normal race and how when you jump a car if it gets too sideways it magically straightens out in mid air and lands almost perfectly flat lol

rollovers in gt5 FTW

yeah the sliding thing takes getting used to, in gt3 the slides were a little smoother but in gt4 the car seems to snap back really fast.

Heh, found a couple polls about the two:

Forza 3 = 48%
GT5 = 52%

Forza 3 = 49%
GT5 = 51%

I think Forza has a few more options for customizing and more realistic physics (they calculate tire flex ffs), but GT5 has been around a bit longer.  I like that GT5 will have a WRC circuit in it.  Has nascar too, but, meh.

I'll surely be playing Forza a few days before it's out.

Maybe another F20C rwd converted CRX.  That thing was nuts to drive on Forza 2 :P
