Just going to Bold two lines.....  Talk to anyone that actually pays attention to racing.  The Buell being allowed to run in that class is retarded.  How does Buell do in MotoGP or WSBK?  Oh yeah, doesn't compete because they will not bend the rules for Harley.

The correct term is "poseur."

Skate or die... skate skate skate skate or die!  Duh duh duh duh duh duh DIE!

Only in the arcade version, though.
I seem to remember that spelling in the PC version as well as NES Skate or Die 2.

No, Staleard.  The acrcade version was awesome.  The PC/console versions sucked.

how dose a 1125 make the same power  ??? AMA let Buell do what ever they wanted to make power, Bigger air box, valves, ect. The 1125 make 130hp stock their race bikes probably make over 150hp.

Kind of embarrassing to have an 1125cc motor make similar numbers as a 600, isn't it.  I can think of an 1099cc twin that makes a whole shit ton more...  Why can't Buell do that?

I was thinking the 1098S, which is not a racebike, thank you for being an idiot...

And you act like I hate Buell's  ::)  I tooled around on an 1125 for a bit today.  Kind of want one, and $8k is pretty cheap for a 0 mile bike.  But I could also go get an 08 1krr for $7k OTD and be much faster.  But sure Johnny, talk about bikes that you haven't ridden, nor will ever ride.... benchricer

really, i haven't ridden and i'll never ride them... why is that?

2008 1098s retail price = $20,000
2008 buell 1125r retail price = $12,000

8,000 for 20whp. the bikes perform similarly. motorcycle RICER

Why don't they let the Ducati's come and play with the Buell's in their purchased series?  Oh, and yeah, I'm a huge ricer.  And since we are throwing videos around

This is my buddy Chad's shop, he does actually work on bikes for a living.  He is kind of well known...

Completely irrelevant to this discussion, but it is cool bike pron from a local shop with a very cool/approachable crew

http://hellforleathermagazine.com/2008/03/buell-1125r-finishes-2nd-in-de.html

The Buell 1125R placed 2nd and 5th in its first race, the 1000km Hockenheim. This podium finish should go some way toward validating Erik Buell's controversial new design.

The 1125R competed in Class 4 for four-stroke bikes with three-cylinders or less, competing directly against factory teams running KTM RC8s and BMW HP2 Sports, as well as the usual assortment of Ducati 1098s and Aprilia RSV 1000 Rs. An HP2 Sport won the class, with KTM RC8s coming in 3rd and 4th.

Why did you buy a sportbike to go in a straight line and get 5000 miles out of your tires?  And never went to the track?  I think that makes you a poser, buddy.  You bought a sportbike for the look, because clearly you don't ride them like they are meant to be ridden.

i commuted on my buell, and i rode it hard on back roads like it was meant to be ridden.

xb12ss = STREET FIGHTER. not a sportbike
husaberg fe650e = dual sport w/ factory motard options

every time you post you expose your ignorance. keep grasping at straws POSER.

Almost double.  Goes hand in hand with the displacement.

i found this old video of a group ride, start at 3:00... i'm the 2nd bike in front of the camera bike. at the end you can see the trooper that came across the yellow lines while i was fully leaned mid corner, i stood it up and rode through the ditch for about 150 feet until my handle bar caught the snow bank.

didn't do anything to my bike except bend the handle bars and put a couple scratches in the turn signal on the front. basically rode it through the ditch and fell over at the end.

poser.

all these bikes i was riding with are "faster" than my xb12ss. the camera bike is a bmw 1200r the bike black in front of him at 3:00 is a newer zx10

That's you at the very end, when the video switches over to text saying "somebody didn't heed my warning," which means your non riding ass tried to pretend you knew more than everyone else and dropped your bike like everyone told you that you would?
