I have a tiny ass restrictor (probably 1/16th), and oil pushing is the only issue Im seeing with this one.

Ive had mine for 11k @ 17psi. Its the same one in the picture. Im using the feedline and restricter it came with and havent had any problems. Blasstperformance rebuilds these things for $260 so if it decided to shit on me il have it repaired
Been using a sutper t-70 from our old ss autochrome on my diesel doing regulary 25psi last 2 years still working great no smoke except the black the my deisel produces.

There good for a setup and run it to see how  it goes then look for a better one  while beating on it. Thats my 2 cents

Pushing oil = engine damage.  Detonation, preignition, ring seal.  Thinking that it's "the only issue" with your setup is you being a huge flaming cock mongering homosexual.   :mexi:

I meant pushing oil past the turbo or center housing seals...

Sorry grand master wizard, for my lack of knowledge when it comes to your technical jargon.

Well...

Mine is working awesome.

23-28 psi no issues....  (whether its productive at those psi who fucking knows)

It rips, it roars, it makes my wagon go fast.

No oil leaks, no smoke.   Running since march(?)

It has taken the 3250lbs wagon to 110mph in the 1/4 so far.

On the street it feels much faster.  But doesnt it always.  haha.

I think one of these ching chong turbos would be worth it if you can throw some garrett bearings and seals in when it takes a shit..

kind of like ching chong wastegate with a tial diaphragm. works like a charm for me!

Ive seen four of them blow out the oil seal at idle before I could even get to drive the car.
some had an oil restrictor some didn't.  the average honda kid is so fucking dumb You tell them ok your turbo has blown seals so call me back when you have it fixed or a new turbo.
then they call you back to retune and they went tto the same ebay auction and bought the same turbo again and it fails again

i rock a cxracing 16g copy, only pushing 11psi because of a shitty wastegate, or how it is mounted causing it to bind and stick open.
but ive ran about 10,000mi so far

you can put garret stuff in them.

i am running one with a cheap chinese rebuild kit and it has been great. so far it has lasted as long as each one did originally and no shaft play or anything now.

My turbo does the same thing, oil in the compressor housing and in all my charge pipes. the thing has done it since pretty much day 1, with a  restricor and a nice 10an drain line. I had the turbo rebuilt by blaast, and when It came back it still does the same exact thing. I will be running china turbo's or a holset from now on

Drove my ebay turbo around Mt St Helens yesterday! 285 miles.  100plus of those miles was pretty badass.  I have never had that long of a drive at high rpms!  Drove FS25 and FS99 (the letters change depending upon map, #s don't).  Went with a big subaru cruise.  Bombed the shit out of those awesome roads.

And the turbo?

AWESOME. Other than not spooling low, which we all know is impossible, it was great.  Really happy with it.  The longest run I did was about 45 miles of curvy shit wet roads at about 80% of ability (don't want to die quite yet) on the way back home.

NO oil leaks
NO weird noises
NO Nuthing but good boost.

It all depends on how bad the turbo is beat on.

I recently tuned an a20 with a chinese turbo. He's been running the same turbo for nearly 2 years now without ever really getting on it too much because he never had the car tuned. 1 week after I tune it, it starts smoking and blowing oil out the seals because he felt the need to hurt the feelings of some mustang owners during the weekend races.

We just rebuilt it the other day with an ebay kit and hope it lasts another 2 years.

Another thing I've noticed, besides them blowing seals is that they don't perform anywhere near what their true counterparts do. A buddy had a chinese 57 trim, then later got a garret 57 trim with all other specs being identical and the difference was night and day.

Yeah, it's pretty wierd that you have the urge to touch another man and feel the need to advertise it.

I'm sorry if you're fucking retarded and can't appreciate how stupid this thread is.  I've been around long enough to know that eBay turbos will forever be hit or miss.  Anything that needs to spin at 80,000rpm and withstand temperatures over 1200*F while being oil lubricated from an outside source needs to be built by something better than what the typical Chinese slave shop offers.

So continue to be a simpleton that doesn't understand that.  I, on the other hand, will continue to cut through the bullshit.

So you are saying that cheap Chinese shit sometimes works and sometimes doesn't?  ZOMG!
