My whole family got hit by the dreaded H1N1 shwein flu , I got hit the hardest while recovering from bronchitis, I cannot eat just constant pain, lost 10 lbs in 3 days.

Seriously, I hate it for ya man, I got hit with it about a month ago, and am just now getting over it. I went from 180 lbs to 165, and am trying to get some back. Get rest, thats all I can say bro.

yesterday I did not touch the computer, all I did was sleep, or try to sleep, so much medication I usually wont even take pain medicine, but this was too much for me. I usually work on my car even when I am sick but I hardly can limp myself outside to get fresh air. the rest of the family are doing fine now.

Lucky. I don't have insurance, I had no pain meds, or any other decent meds. Maybe that's why it took me damn near a month to get over it...

Wondering when pork will be cheap so I can fill my freezer full of the stuff.

12+years now not one trip to the hospital health care is for the weak. if you get swine flu jesus hates you.

Proof if you live off a diet of alcohol,energy drinks, tobacco, orange chicken,pizza and pot you will be healthier than anyone else you know.

I ask myself why me? I don't even like pork, in jamaica most people don't eat pork... My wife is German and thats all they eat, I eat fish and chicken and ocasional beaf. I will eat pork once a month when I go to the race track because thats all they usually have, or at the volksfest. (I know you don't get schwein flu from eating pork)
you know whats the wierdest thing, the city I live in is named Schweinfurt, you may heard of it from the ww2 history all the major bb factories are here, sachs, skf, fag etc. but its also a huge farming town, wake up in the morning the smell of pig shit.

isnt is just like any other flu and you cant really get it from the pork product itself?

the regular flu has killed more people.
but the shwein flu has killed enough people for the short its been discovered. plus it is spread much easier than regular flu, my son brought it home from school, and in 1 day a family of 4 was infected, plus the regular flu never knocked me down like that. I normally take theraflu for seasonal flu, this one I am taking 200euros worth of meds, and still hurting.

doc comes in and says
"you have the swine flu"

and i anwser yeah so did my brother a week or so ago
i dont get how two weeks ago i came in with the same symptons and you guys didnt test me
then i got better now im sick again and you do and i have the flu

you say i have the swine flu but i know from my little bro that you guys just checked for the flu
not H1-N1 in peticular
she says
its the only one in our comunity right now
and the treatment is the same : therma-flu
she said to test for the swine flu it needs to be send away and takes 6 days for the results
and they are only doing it for certian people like people that already have some thing wrong with them or like very old or young ppl
and once again since you are not in these catagories we arnt goning to send it away
plus the treatment is the same any way

so i said why did you say i have the swine flu if you arent sure ?
she once again said its the only one in the comunity

i think its total bull shit that its the only one in the community
yet i dont really give a fuck cause im getting the same meds any way

shit dude I just realized how bad the healthcare is in the states, when we called for an appointment to go see the doctor, they quaranteen us and order us to stay home, doctor showed up in 30 minutes and tested us, 2 hours later hours later he called and told us the results, 1 hour later the pharmacy deliver the meds to hour house, meds were expensive, but that was with 70% paid buy our insurance, and 100% paid for the treatment. insured by mobil 1 oil.

no I work for the army post office (APO, AE) and after I got off active duty I am a reservists now. so got private insurance through mobil 1
