well thanks for all the nice comments, the bad ones eh whatever, it comes with posting your shit online. not every1 is going to like it.

and sorry for all the pics i copied my build thread from a different forum, i bassically shows the last year of my car slowly getting to where its at now

yeah i put slicks on it cuz i got them used.....well they had 3 passes and 0 burnouts on them, including the rims that were new when my buddy bought the slicks. i got them for $300 mounted ...... the rims alone cost that much.

the cage i got for $100 and it was only used on a show car.

i realize i dont need alot of the stuff i got but when i find a really good deal i jump on it and upgradded what i had and sold off the other stuff to finance more of the build. originally i had a volvo fmic and dsm sidemount,i  got a godspeed one for $40 from a buddy. i had a stock volvo bov, dsm bov, and a free vortech bov, as well as a bunch of random ic pipes, i found a blitz bov on custom ic pipes for $100 shipped. the injectors i got on a trade for an ebay intake pipeing that was given to me.

as far as xenocron thats just were i bought the chipping kit, i ran a basemap for about 1 week not boosting befor it was street tuned.

total i think i spent about $500-600 total to boost it. if you count the exhaust which i had for about a year befor add $100 or the ebay stage 3 clutch that was install a year befor the turbo went on add another $150

and i did everything myself, i just used the search button on about 10 different forums reading everything i could before i boosted it.

down the road the plan is to either buy the d15b7 rods from the dude in hungry or use a jdm d15b cranck with fj custom length d15b rods w/ vitaras and again upgradeing the turbo kit and looking for 300-350 out of a d15b7

i managed a best of 14.5 on street tires and 11 psi, with a 2.2 60ft. i got the slicks and ran a 2.2 60ft at 14.3 at 14 psi.......i forgot to change my launch control which was set for 4000rpms for street tires. so i went back for the last open test and tune of the year and managed to get a 1.9 60ft 100mph and a 14.3???? well it was 40-45* the track wasnt preped well after the first 60ft as it was like the last day of the season, they usually go over the track every 1.5-2hrs and just did a quick prep befor the test and tune and never went back over it.

the first 60 just hooked and went good then there was nothing i could do it was just spinning tires all the way through 2nd and and if i just kept on it half way through third, so i was short shifting into third because of it which made me bog out a bit. those times are easily good enough for mid to high thirteens, with an si tranny swap(still on dx tranny) i'll be in the low thirteens easily.

say what you want its not bad for a daily driver stock 1.5l dx motor.....d15b7 ftmfw

yeah my car isnt the fastest but i thought thats what rhmt was all about, yeah a k-swapped civic does run faster with some bolt ons, but i also have like 7-800 into my entire turbo kit on a d15b7 that can  run mid to high 13's, and low 13's after i swap in a si tranny.

sorry function > form, sorry your not a fan of the spoiler i like it. ahgain this is my car and i'm building it per my taste, i dont need your aprovel nor anybody elses.

First I have to agree with everyone hating on the carbon fiber uselessness. ADDING carbon fiber inlays does not reduce weight, so where's the function > form on that one? IMO you took a perfectly good hatch and riced it out with a baby turbo. The best part is when you DE-riced that coupe.

Second, I ran high 13's on 6 year old 205/40/16's with a DX tranny, and not much more power at the time. Hell I think I even pulled better 60's, and it was my first time at the track too.

Last but not least, if you missed the fucking boat you should know Xenofag fucked this entire forum community over. He was given the reins to the HMT site, then SOLD IT for buku profit - hence why there is not a REALhomemadeturbo.com website.

So to sum it up, stay the fuck off this website until we can see anything we CAN approve of. You stated you've whored it up on a few other sites, so stick to those until you decide to derice your pocket rocket. Once you have, post up some nice porn and we'll welcome you back. We appreciate the whole DIY deal, but that can't forgive *that* much shit.
