Just to repeat what I said in class on Friday. There will be a soft deadline for next Wednesday which I encourage you to meet and a "hard deadline" or drop dead date of 12 noon next Friday. I encourage you to do a truly outstanding job on these papers because I have high expectations for them. I want to see that you have read and thought about these issues and can put together a major statement
  of position with the length, the scholarship and the thought required of you. Just a friendly warning, if I sense something thrown together at the last minute that comes in at the last possible moment on friday, I will be really pissed given the work I have put into this class. I'm sure his professor is paying attention to him.  He was expressly forbidden to do a presentation on why analytical philosophy is garbage, using the tenets thereof to disprove it's validity.

You'll be pleased to know he now agrees with you and Johnny that college is a complete waste of time, the only thing that can be said for it is it's a universal letter of referral for employment.  I don't fully agree but keep in mind I worked the living shit out of my professors, I didn't go for a liberal arts degree, and I spent at most $4K a year to go full time.  AKA not the chump route.

i got called into work and ended up staying until about 630ish on a site to unfuck a serious situation that should have been taken care of weeks ago. i talked to mitch and a couple of others, i was going to come out to the races later that night, but he failed to tell me when/where.

at the end of the day i still fucking fail though.
