my stock b16 tranny is holding up..........
going to pull it apart this winter to see what it looks like
why??? thats fucking stupid if all appears fine.
POOTIe:
I like the coupe...
although the fitment of the cage looks like shit up front... But if you think the 6765 is going to keep up with the sfwd 72mm boys youre smoking something that may bring me out of retirement should you choose to share.
I vouch for supertech springs and retainers, but concur, if the head isnt on the motor yet, or even if it is, Id be seriously thinking about changing the valves from them.
You surely wont be LOLing when you SEE that theyve ruined your motor should they fail (as im sure youre aware they do from being around here).... Ask Levi about it, or JD, or... well, whatever...
I wish you luck
yea, i have another dash from a junkyard car to put in a lil cleaner. But as far as the cage goes it will cert just fine(thats all that counts)
And i am swapping out valves for Ferreas soon.
The 6765 billet will suport close to 900whp (and if i'am going deep into the 10's on less than 1/2 that now) I don't see why i won't be able to get the car to go a 9.70 once i figure out the boost controller which is veryyyyy competitive with the SFWD guys. 7 out of the 8 events i went to this year for SFWD cars a .60 was winnning. And fastest was the DP coupe with a .47
PS: i believe Tony went the first 8 sec pass under powered , with around 930whp.
I'd like to think the 6765 would have a hellll of a lot better powerband than a 372R
There is also an option for the 6765 with a .94 back T4 divided that would suport 900whp+ . i have to call up Precision this week to look into the right combo for my needs.
