hopefully next week. MFactory diff comes in, along with some gears and GSR tranny. If it's all here and i can get the tranny and clutch on the longblock it will go in.

everything is ready!!

just have to wait for my twindisc to come in and to finish up the trans (since it took me 3 weeks to get my MFactory stuff)..

Oh and a skatter shield!

ahh man, i had the same front end except with sir bumper light holes (crx) , i ended up getting rid of it as i wanted it more streetworthy looking and just got a brand new sir front end.

Well finally my drivetrain stuff are coming in!!

Diff showed up to my job today.. gears,sleeves,carbon coated syncros got delivered to the house!! ;D :yes:

Tranny should be together in a day or 2, once i can get some time. Then all thats left is a skattershield and the motor can go in!!

Damn, almost 12 pound diff!!

The first time that car makes power and hooks it, and the resulting trany fail inevitably ensues, youll see thet you WISH it was only gonna cost 3 gs to fix the issue

There are a lott of "stock tranny" guys going 9.40-9.80s (i'll be happy with a .70)

What I'm saying is I'm confident that I have a much more comprehensive idea and hands on experience with what the limitations of a stock Honda iranny are and yes... I was implying that if you make the power you're going to need to make that setup worthwhile you WILL be breaking shit. Unless you invest on a gearset. Would you like to debate why elsewhere? 15psi 1st gear, 20psi 2nd gear, 25psi in 3rd and 28psi in 4th will be good for 9's and not kill the tranny!
(Last year i was getting my best 60 foots on15-16psi out the hole...and the Best ET was with 20psi in 3rd and 4th) So with another 150-200whp on the big end and atleast a 1.65 or better 60' and i should be golden for 9s)

Made it sound EZ right , lol

Also this year the car will be off eCtune and on S300

i have had a few little buggy issues with eCtune (one of them being hitting hitting boost cut well below the pre-set boost cut)

So i'm going to make the switch and see what happens. I'm getting a free unit. So why not!

oh , i no doubt expect fail. But i won't be trowing all the power at it right off the bat.

I expect to be getting seat time with about 70% (650whp) of the power for a few months. By then i should be able to gather up some funds for a "real" tranny!

I think my goal of high 9's is veryyyyy much a reality on a somewhat stock gearbox.
