coolant in cylinders

as title reads i got coolant in cylinders 2-3 .... is there a nig rig way to fix this with out pullin the head again? i know this is a stupid question i just dont want to let reallity to set in cus i kn i got to pull it and redo it again and i just dont have the time

how bad is it for the motor to be burnin coolant? 


side note:
head was off for 4 weeks cuz i destroyed the exhaust valves in two of the cylinders so i picked up a new head ,head gasket and put it all back together again everythin was done right now i got this issue

how in the fuck would you fix this without pulling the head? one solution would be to drive your car into a vat of concrete.

have the head checked and decked. Take a straight edge to the block too it may be warped from your ignorance.

the only way to truely fix this from happeneing again is to jb weld ot tig weld the head right to the block. how do you think the stealth shuttle is held together :yes:

Any used head needs to go to machine shop and get decked. I dont like to use the term warped as people assume it can be seen with the human eye



Costs 50-60 bucks and should always be done. These parts are old now and getting away with not decking 15 year old heads is a foolish man's dream



Do it right next time and have no worries. Be cool with your machine shop owner and dont low ball them. If they quote you the price I posted dont beat around trying to save 10 bucks by claiming to look around etc


These old dudes are your friends a good machinist will make you look good over and over again.

i know it isnt that hard just gettin tired of workin on this damn thing ...its been off the road now for over a month and a half cuz i havent had time or money to fix it ...i act had to barrrow money from people and still owe them ...now i got so spend even more its just fustrating .... the worst part is im still learnin everythin so it takes me a lil longer to accomplish somethin a og can do in a secound

startin over tomorrow early hopefully i'll have the head off by noon..also ordered a new head gasket just incase the older new one i got three weeks ago is messed up 



also can i re-use head studs or should i buy new? ....and arps are not gunna happen! homeless people got more money then i got at the moment .... at most it will be some napa shit

also this is where i stand now started puyllin shit off this mornin and found that two of the bottom bolts on the intake mani were not even hand tight, i pulled the intake mani to find coolant ponds above cylinder 4 and also a lil bit in cylinders 1-3 as well .....my question to all is should i still pull the head to see whats up  ?

not in the actual intake but above the intake valves in the head
 i believe what was happening was at med. rpms i was creating enough suction between the head and the intake to suck just enough coolant in ... i could be wrong but i dont think its the head gasket cuz car is running perfect not sputtering or anythin  , except for the coolant in the cylinders

well done for the day got work in 20 min ill know more tomorrow when i dick around with it again

if you are keeping the car, pull head, get it trued up and install with new HG and the old head studs are fine.  watch the torquing sequence when you install.


if you are trying to sell it, you MIGHT get by with some of that shit in a can that will clog it long enough not to leak, but don't get you hopes up

Is the coolant in all your intakes ports on your head? Or just the #4 cyl? (thats the one thats farthest away from the drives side of the car)
