Another day video, real quick and crappy. But whatever.

First pull is just fourth, for some reason it cut off third. Then comes my ugly mug, i didn't feel like editing it out, so fuck you. Second pull is Rolling into 3rd nice and soft and trying to feather the throttle a little bit. Doesn't work out too well. Doesn't seem really fast in the video, but it moves.

This is me messing around in 3rd and fourth. Not much traction so you can't really tell what's going on.

Well it is all painted and everything now, runs great, took the small spring out of the waste gate because i couldn't get it to stay under 21 psi, which is currently boost cut until it get's into the dyno. Rite now it hangs around 18psi steady.
Runs like a champ, i can feather and get traction in third, well not really, mostly have traction in fourth.
It received a new jdm front end before the paint, painter pulled all interior etc, painted EVERYTHING, floor, door jams, shock towers, took all body panels down to bare metal. He had fun with it, also repaired some body damage under the car from a crash.

What it started as....






Here is a taste of what it has become. Still has a little work left, but it is getting there.
























































A full list of everything that was done to the car, as well as all of the parts etc will be in a build thread that i will do when i get a chance.
This is mostly just to let you guy's see some pictures.

Clean ass rex man. Hope to be painting mine this spring. I thought about picking up a JDM front end, but after the shit happened recently with my car I couldn't justify the price of it and take the risk of some fucker ruining it and not being liable.

looks great dude. you really need to get at the very least a factory lip on that front bumper. a carbon fiber lip would be sweet though.

Yeah they defiantly are not cheap anymore, thats for sure. I traded a  3pc wide body callos front end plus cash and some wheels for the brand new front end i got.

Hes a rot/lab mix. Hes a mutt, i rescued him in florida in 2005 from a pound, turned out to be the best dog i have ever had. Has the personality of a semi-retarded human, and im a big fan.

The white mirrors, window frames, hood prop, door handles, and crx logo need to kick some rocks...  Other wise it's a good looking car...

Yeah, Well if i was here it would have been done a little different, but i gave the old man free reign while i was in iraq, hes old so doesn't really communicate via email and stuff well, so it was hard to check up on it. I think it came out great either way.

Is it just me or is that DP molesting the radiator? Looks like your d00d made it for 2.25" DP in a single-core rad CRX. I'm going to go out on a limb saying that's not a SPAL, or even FAL, fan on there. Based on experience, you'll end up having heat issues once the season changes.

Other than that, I can't see anything I don't like. Looks like you've put lots of work into it.

Not trying to hate, but it's the only thing that stands out as strange. I have never had a problem fitting bigger turbo's in ef's to the point of extremem angles and funky turbo placement. just looks hella off.

but the exterior is badass.

Yea its one of the old school ones that mikey at LSD was pushing for awhile. I upgraded all the heim joints and decided to use it.
It will def. be at the next meet, i wont deploy for another 3-4 years.

Yea the DP is molesting it, you are rite there, its a 3 inch DP, the radiator actually is a little thicker than normal, i should get a thinner one. I used to have a FAL fan on there, but it was way to big to fit when i went turbo, so i got a pusher fan on the front. It never overheated in May when we initially tuned it, but then again, i don't think it got over 65* (normal Northern WA temp)
I have put around 3 years worth of work into it, its been a long road, with a wife and two children, i can't afford to dump serious money into it all at once, i had to do it over time.

Yea bryson made it, i bought it like 2 or 3 years ago, it seemed like a good idea at the time, really, im not having any issues with it, people complain about boost creep on low boost setups, since i am running higher boost, i don't really have to worry about that. It holds 18psi solid rite now. For the price, i don't think it is a bad topmount setup at all.
I didn't have anyone local to me that had the time/expertise to make me a manifold guaranteed to fit into a EF with B series, so this was the best alternative for me.


The only complaint i have is that the DP kind of rests rite against the bell housing of the tranny underneath, and i am pretty sure its vibrating and making all kinds of ruckus. (Open DP, hard to hear anything)

His welding isn't bad, but where he shines is trying to place the turbo in "new" and "innovative" places, well because it is an ef and it's tight.  :?:

Looking at it again, if he'd spun the turbo a little clockwise and placed it further off by an inch or so, the DP wouldn't be so awkward and you could fit a real filter.  So, I guess I see what you are saying.
