So i got some 10" Infinity reference series speakers that ive had since like 03 or so. they have held up well but i have a bad tendency to push every damn thing i own to the brink of destruction. So they are rated like 300 RMS or something and have a peak of 1000
.
Any-who, i got a Kenwood 930 pushin it and it beats pretty hard for the Shitty ass deck i got em hooked to with no EQ or line driver. well at first i was pushin it with a 500 w (or like 200 if you live in the real world) Jensen and it was pathetic so i bought the Kenwood. I think they made it a week before i blew the Wires off the voice coil. so i bust out some extra wire and solder and whatnot and fix em.
then rinse and repeat about every 4-6 months until present. naturally it only happens on Morning like today were i feel like if i don't fill my face with ridiculously awesome loud music my head might explode. So i toss in Rising down from the roots and like 5 seconds into the first track i remember how awesome it is and naturally it gets turned up. and peace out right sub. so now i got no bump until i unscrew my damn speakers again and re-solder the goddamn lead on it.
Im on my second goddamn speaker box cause ive unscrewed them so many times. anybody else have to constantly fix or repair shit cause they absolutely refuse to turn the amp down? When they are workign its nice to put out a cig lighter in the driver seat for peanuts. I dont have shit for money in it.
Cliffs: Infinity speakers are pushed far beyond what they should take and spit out voice coil wires in protest of noggin splitting sound.
