Not really fabrication but didn't seem like it fit better anywhere  else...

I have the Suja 1 Motoring EF cable/hydro conversion kit, and have a fluid reservoir that I will be mounting under the hood.  I need to run a hose from the reservoir down to the master cylinder which will be at the pedal assembly, and the hose that came with the reservoir won't make the 2-3 foot trip.

Auto chains don't carry the hose, know where else I can get it?

look up hydraulic hoses in the yellow pages. most hose shops have it on the shelf.

Has to be a certain plastic or will sweat through the hose/turn it to mush.

Hardline? mild steel or stainless would work, would test your skills with a bender.

And +1 to checking with a hydraulic shop, but around here everything they had was double or tripple braid, 4Ksi rated, and not flexible for shit.

Try a junkyard for some. I had a clutch issue a few years back and found NO hose that wouldn't break down after a week. I tried every fucking thing I could think of. If you don't mind ghetto, you could gather clutch line, and brake hose pieces, adn piece them together with short pieces of hard line joining them. Good luck though man

Yeah, was trying to avoid hardline since it has to weave from the engine bay through the dash and to the master cylinder...but I suppose I'll have to quit being lazy.  Apparently the hose is sorta pricey and was hoping someone knew of a cheap source of hose made of the right plastic.

I'll find out what it needs to be made of and google around for the stuff...

The issue is, it's from a reservoir to the nipple on the master cylinder, no threads...

I forgot about that, and guess it also means hardline will not work.

FYI Ford crow vic with ABS has a 3 or 4 foot long hose approx. 5/8" ID going from the master cylinder to the ABS pump.

I don't know if you're also suggesting I use hardline, but I don't see how a hardline will work from a non-threaded nipple to another non-threaded nipple.  The factory uses hose and clamps, it's from the reservoir to the MC.

It's $3 a foot, but is the proper material.

Be aware that typical fuel hoses are not compatible with automotive brake fluid. This hose is formulated to withstand brake fluid and will not dry out, crack, and leak like fuel hose will.

I'm using this so I can mount the brake fluid reservoir under the hood, and run the hose from the reservoir to the Suja 1 Motoring/Sonem EF cable/hydraulic conversion which mounts a master cylinder on the pedal assembly inside the car.  Unfortunately, the 6" pieces of hose that Honda uses won't quite reach

Use the hard line and cut the short peice (OEM hose) in 2 then put them on each end of the hard line with the small clamps

Yeah, that would work well if I had OEM hoses and some hardline laying around, but either way I was going to have to buy something

About 2ft of the hose linked above worked tits and was enough.  Have two feet left over to beat the bitches with when they aren't making money like they should.

it's frustrating when the people who carry hoses and orings and stuff don't know what they're made of.

braided teflon hose will work. any hose that is EPDM. buna-n and nitrile (most fuel hose) are not compatible with glycol-based brake fluid.
