Scary thign is a kid (about 16) came into the ER this morning with burns across his entire forehead, front half scalp, and both eyes. He was assessed and into surgery quick. Buddy on shift after me messaged me the kid will lose one eye. Once the doc got a look in his left socket, the eye was an empty sac just chillen there.

Apparently he pulled a hose off his dads tractor while it was running (coolant duh) because it was "seemed like it was over heating and sounded funny". Also The mother refused ALS transport while they were on scene and drove him herself to the hospital. Fucking hicks in this area.

Your shit looks way better than him though. Take progress pics. Wanna see the reduction in swelling and the aftermath.
