Title: Purchased a gun
Post by: d-rail on February 18, 2010, 02:29:04 AM: As bad as I hate Taurus guns I bought one. Got a sweet deal on it and just couldn't pass it up. I like the the after market grips on it alot better than the original ones. Feels pretty good and shoots nice.

10/22 is a $150 gun...with whatever TAPCO-fucked stock he put on it, maybe $250 if you're going by original purchase price. Depends on what kind of scopes we're talking about too, could just be a bunch of cheap junk that isn't worth anything.

Keep the Glock. Buy a 10/22 if you want one...I wouldn't use one as a home defense weapon unless that's all I had. Aftermarket mags for them can be really picky too, I hardly ever have any malfunctions with my cheapo 25-rounder, but I'd feel much better trusting my life to a Glock or the SLR I already own.

Oh yeah, nice Taurus. My brother used to have one, was a great gun, good shooter for a good price.

It shoots great, consistent, loves home grown whammmmmy shells, and with the grips in the picture it feels 1000x more comfortable to me then the factory grips. Only 1 other hand gun it its price range I'd trade it for

Sure did, I bought it and he got a badass Springfield 1911 in stainless.

If I didnt easily rage and got away from my naturally stressed life I'd be fine out in the country I suppose, but being at Aisin and lacking sleep to spend with Sherida"new GF and you will meet" I'm only running now on high octane ABSOLUTE right now
