I angle grinder with a nice 80 grit flap disk tear's the fitting up. Although the black boogers from grinding on pipes is annoying.

there 2 kinds i get, one has twice the material on it. so for the thick ones i would say 1 ramhorn maybe half way through another manifold.

there only like $5/e so i will buy up a bunch at a time and never need to buy them for months.

clipped the brass bleeder thingy, drilled to .220" then 4 small .120" holes at the bottom of the T-stat.

Doubt it will help, but I was bored. Forgot how well the Y8 ED Slushy likes to move out for what it is.

Theres a reason i refuse to pull my stock full rad out. I ran for a year with no rad. fan. and never had overheating, it would go up 1/4 way at drive throughs.

That would be fine for the time being, that way the crack won't open up and push out coolant

Post by: turbob16hatch on March 13, 2010, 04:50:03 PM: Go get a normal 90* bend and start cutting. I fit pipes in tight spots like that all the time. You will need to cut say a same pie section from the bend then cut another these "pie" cut section can form many different angle and fit in tight spots.

To make it easier to cut just tack weld 2 90* bends together in oposite directions. I use this technique alot to fit pipes.

The hobart has enough ass to melt the pipes together, but going to the flanges is another story. Thankfully I have access to decent 220 miller.

I should be getting my short radius bend in the days to come... and the weather is supposed to be nice so progress is in evitable...

Werd O0... The shop that has the welder I need to do the flanges also has a massive vice. I haven't forgot about that part... I cleaned all the burrs out of the pipes n got the merge welded up today. It'll probably be complete over the next few days.
