Feel like making some home made hamburger patties today, just unsure of what to add to the beef.
You nigs got any good recipes? They will be made on a skillet, not a grill. I'm at my girls apt and she has no grill, much less a place to grill.

Season salt into patties before you cook.

I grilled this weekend at my place with a homemade setup: cinder blocks to make the pit, and oven racks for the grilling surface O0

Depends on what kind of burgers you want. Make sure you get 80/20 ground meat though. You can cook it well done and it will still be juicy and flavorful.
-
Juicy is definitely high on the list of what I want out of a burger. Don't know how many times I've gone to restaurants and the burger is dry as fuck. I read on the internet that some people use a bit of mayo when kneading the patties to keep it juicier.
Sounds like some plain ole seasoning salt and garlic powder it is.

Your in for a win on the taste

I personally don't season my burgers much. I just use 80/20 good quality meat and top with cheese and bacon.
A trick for cooking it. Ball your meat into desired size(1/4 - 1/2lb typically). Place it on a skillet at medium heat. Let it cook for about 45-60 seconds and then flatten the burger out. Cook as you usually would. If you're in a rush, you can put a cover over the pan, but I wouldn't suggest it. I'd only cover to melt cheese. If you like well cooked meat, you may need to throw the sucker in the oven.

Grill is the only way to go sir

He said he couldn't grill, and I still don't agree. I enjoy a flat top burger as much as a grilled burger.

I have to disagree, briquette is the only way to go
-
my old man used to put chopped onion into the patties and that was tasty shit.
-
run an onion over a cheese grater, mince jalapenos, garlic powder, seasoning salt, an egg, a dash of Worcestershire.
yum city....
been making this way for 10 years now and always get compiments. If you use less fatty meat, add crushed ice to patties just before you grill em. ;) Juicy :D
-
Now that shit sounds good right there.
-
also use the same recipe more or less for BBQ meat loaf. :noel:
-
Habaneros or Jalapenos
-
chop up an onion and mix it into the meat and then add a little bit of italian dressing, mix it up and make into pattys. i tried that one time and was suprised on how much flavor it gives the meat and juicy it leaves it.
-
I like to add some bread crumbs and salsa it helps keep the patties together.
-
i put bread crumbs in also if i accidently put too much dressing in it.

Strictly Garlic salt. Strictly.
-
Used some Jonny's seasoning and some garlic powder and a tspn of mayo. Shit was pretty good. Only complaint my girl had was that it fell apart while she was trying to put it on her bun.
Was accompanied with some baked tater tots and some red coolaid.

Even drunk, I've never have this problem with her.

I season the meat with a little garlic salt and some Steakhouse seasoning and a tad of lea and perrins worcestershire sauce. Then i cook up some bacon to a barely crunchy texture and crumble it in a bowl. Then i take about a 1/3 lb patty and sorta make a bowl with it, square is helpful and put some of the bacon inside along with your favorite cheese. Cheddar is a good one but Pepper jack is also good. then use those four flaps and close up the burger.
Viola Bacon and cheese stuffed Burgers. Prepare your tongue for orgasms.
Onion and mushrooms would also rock, perhaps a little Jalapeno tossed in or something.
Just cook it more than these assholes do, Pink ground beef is not good to eat, ever.

Oh wow, you set that shit up for your self
-
found a better way to do it cause i cokked them the other night. take that 1/3rd of meat and make 2 patties with it. put your shit on top of one and cover it with the other pattie, worked good just make sure to pinch the sides shut good or else you will have a cheesey mess in the pan/grill.
I think Mushrooms/ onion/Jalapenos will be the next.
