I dont post on here much, I want to build a full 3" exhaust for my car (I can weld my own stuff)
and I was wondering where you guys get exhaust piping around the seattle area?
thanks
-
Columbia river ftw. They are from oregon.
Or kteller. They make specific exhaust kits for you to weld up.
-
acestainless
-
I bet Buk (jay) could fab you up a full 3", and with a manifold+dp to match.
-
Vrsexhaust is dirty cheap. I believe they still are in business. Figure another $40-50 for shipping.
-
Call stephan at ASP. Hes in Kent and will have ANYTHING you need IN STOCK, tell him Spiker Josh and Randy reffered you.

Ok Im going to buy the stuff from columbia river... what do you guys go with as far parts?
Im thinking about doing this:
-3.00" OD, 6.00" Radius, 16 Gauge, 304 Stainless Ultimate BK
-3.00" ID x 4.00" Long, Stainless Flex Tube
- 5x 3.00" Mild V-Band Flange
- 3x 02 sensor bungs
which comes to 416$ + shipping. (I know the discount code, but I dont know where to apply it?)
also, is 16 gauge thick enough for the whole exhaust?
-
What kind of car? I would seriously give VRS a chance. They supply Kteller. For that much money they may have a nice mandrel bent kit in stainless for less.
-
16 gauge is plenty big enough
why are you getting 5 vbands and 3 o2 bungs though that is the real fucking question.

2 oem oxygen sensors + wideband. obvious answer

exactly
the car is a 99 passat... I need 1 v-band at the turbo, 2 for the downpipe and 2 for the rear section of the car
I could just use regular exhaust clamps but I dont want to deal with gaskets

I have a hard time navigating through VRSs website, and havent found any tubing kits that are not manufacturer specific?
-

If you just want a bunch of random bends thrown together, hit up Columbia River Mandrel Bends

stainless is too ballur for me... I'd just buy mild and paint it with a high temp paint. but thats just me :mexi:

Same here

You might be able to ask to use ss409. It's stainless basically used for automotive exhausts. It's priced right between mild steel and 304.
-
Fuck I just stole my brother-in-laws old 3" injen exhaust off of his srt4 and cut that shit up and re-welded it to fit the crx. Worked good for me. Check out cl and see if anyone is selling some old stainless exhaust off of a XXX brand car and cut that shit up and make it work. DO WORK S0N!!
