How much power is he going to make?

Hopefully it makes some decent power you know what the best part is that i bought this car for $1400 with a spun rod bearing. I am $2400 into it total now lol. Story of my life..... :noel:

This is the car two years ago but its pretty much the same now. I just rebuilt the motor and threw everything back on.... http://www.hondamarketplace.com/showthread.php?t=2413913 (http://www.hondamarketplace.com/showthread.php?t=2413913)

Stage 4 Competition clutch, nice and soft for daily driving ??? Mine surely isn't soft, but I'm using a hydro conversion.  Either way, definitely a lot softer than I expected.  Guy that pulled my car into the exhaust shop argued with me "the clutch is wrong" when he killed it a couple times trying to move it :P

Good luck, don't forget ripper vids.

Yeah this guy was an 'ol southern boy who also argued my motor mounts were fucked until I popped the hood and showed him the shiny Hasports...

What are the goals for this, with the bigass 1000cc injectors and all?

Well took the car up to RDtech today. When made 353hp/228tq with cali's shitty gas.  I am definitely satisfied with the car as it sits. It is going to make a fun daily with ac ;)  I am going to get a bigger exhuast housing and throw some sunoco 100 in and take it back for a retune sometime in the next few weekends. Probably bump up the boost to 20-25 as well.

Video of us blowing up their exhuast vent pipe  :o

David has the whole session in pdf I believe. Also has a printout. Weird dip going into vtec but that fucker screamed. I think a .63 or bigger housing would of yielded bigger numbers.

Sounds like it NEEDS a bigger exhaust housing, the engine is choking on such a little ohusing.

We set vtak at 5500. The turbo was at 14.5psi way before that. Motor made power all the way to 8800.

Holy shit congrats on running the turbo the right way.

Nice numbers.

and to those who say a bigger housing, not everyone loves laggy ass turbo's so you can make 500 hp for 1000 rpm. I built a 50 trim .48 a/r set up for a friend makes plenty of power for a vitara z6. (320whp on a mustang at 22 psi iirc) runs low 11's.

I can't agree more, but when u can get a hy35 that would be at full boost by 3800, and pull like a mofo all the way to 8k, that's a big turbo that's not real laggy and has a nice power band.

I just see far to many lag ass setup's because they wanted xxx hp or bust.

over 300whp is great for a street car/DD.  This thing is a beast and capable of 11's

How is it on the street, really responsive? I'd just thought the dyno would show power come on earlier. I'd also thought it would drop like a rock after 6k but it doesn't.

I thought it would come on a lot sooner, more like my old rhb5 d16a6, man that mother fucker was like squeezing the bottle every time I stood on the gas! Nothing like power on tap with no spool up time.
