Title: what would be the best tranny for this setup*PICS UP*
Post by: turboblack2door on April 16, 2009, 05:23:50 PM: jdm d15b fjt custom lengh rods 75.5mm vitaras holset hx35 evo 550s injectors CSAddic manifold jgs 40mm wastegate 20lbs boost. car is a gutted 10pt cage 92cx. I have a cx tranny just not sure if i want to use it. Car looks like a 4x4 but it has AGX'S and Ground controls on it

dx= good dd highway tranny
ex= ripper tranny
ex+lsd= double ripper tranny

Custom Built Bone tranny= Baller tripple ripper

with 24.5" tall tires

ex trans in 5th at 3k =73.32mph
Si trans in 5th at 3k = 68.63mph

Ive been through both, and broken both. Many times. I really dont believe that one is stronger than the other.
