Old Setup:
Tuesday we got intercooler mounted, downpipe made, intercooler pipes almost done, just need to figure out the hot side. We got the oil drain tapped and JB welded in. Just need to get the fuel pump in, injectors in with the pig tails, get my ecu chipped, get the plugs in, royal purple in, vacuum lines for bov, boost gauge, MBC and the vacuum manifold. Should be gettin it tuned in vegas next week hopefully. Anyways on to the pics, shitty ass cell phone pics, but whatever.

The hot side didnt fit well at all, turbo is almost touching my block. Had to cut the U pipe and put another coupler in the middle, and gangster lean the fuck out of the pipe so it fit.

Yeah man got the fuel pump like 3 days ago haha. Lets just say we made it fit. Its 180 degrees opposite of how the civic is setup but that shit should work. We had to use a worm gear clamp to hold the pump on the bracket.

Everything is done minus bolting up the hot side IC pipe, and wiring in the resistor box, that will happen sunday. On Tuesday next week I plan on going to the dyno and getting tuned from Dougs Dyno Power in Vegas. Ill post up my weak ass dyno graph when i get it.

Im gonna stay low boost, my wastegate is set for 7psi, and imma add a boost controller for added security. Im hoping to get at least 200 whp. We will see.

Boost leak problem fixed. The diaphragm on my bov is leaking. With the recirc tube closed, I build boost. I need to cut my cold side and make it shorter, it will rub on my tire if I turn a sharp left.

Son of a bitch. I was driving down to Vegas and guess what happened? I drove about 10 miles, and my revs starting going up, tried to put my car into neutral and the fucker was stuck between 5th and neutral. I pull off to the side of the road, wait 2 fucking hours for my step dad to show up with his truck and trailer my bitch all the way to my buddies shop.
Next day, I ripped out the tranny and took it apart, and what did I see?

Problem fixed. It was leaking and now allowing me to hold boost. I crushed it and it didnt open.... I bought a CDM bov and took the extra spring out and now no more compressor surge.

Well... Update....
Bought AJs H1C, and I have a CDM cast mani on the way... So hopefully I will get retuned here quick. Just need a fuckin tial wastegate and then im good to go. Surprisingly the CDM turbo I have ATM is still running strong. But I decided I want to go bigger.

Now get your fucking vtec working and lets see some rippers. First I would pull the vtec solenoid check/clean the screen. Then I would put a cheepo oil pres. gauge on and see what happening.

The VTEC pressure switch (VTP) is a poor man's oil pressure gauge. If you aren't getting CEL 22 then you need to check for blockage in the head, especially in the orifice tube under the cam cap. I can't remember offhand but I think there's an o-ring that is needed as well just like the DOHC VTEC motors.

Oil level is easy to check on my car when it stops smoking i'm two quarts low. so I added some. It burns because ive got a big old scar running down cylinder No1 from cracked ringlands :( being lazy I sourced a y8 with a spun bearing on a local forum seeing how there in abundance. dropped ina donor piston and rocked that shit. some months later a heard a slight knock dropped the pan found shaving then promtly went to fowee's basement and stole all all his bearing from the a6 blocks down there. Theres a y49 rear uarter down there, It scares the fuck out of me. :-[
so I picked out the choicest bearings put them in and ran it for 6months then I gat an oil light that wouldn't go out unless I held it at about 2500rpms so I went to Oriely and bought some sealed power bearing seeing that fowee's basement didn't have any anymore and the Y49 scared the fuck out of me :-[
"takes a deep breath" put those in and replaced the oil pump with one from a not so abused y7 block that I have.
This motors been through enough it's time for it to rest.

Planning on cleaning vtec solenoid asap, then I will check oil pressure. I have no cels, so I will check that orfice. I just hope to get this damn problem fixed so I can throw down some good numbers. But I did hit 160 whp with no vtec. I believe i was around 151 wtq. Thanks for the advice JD/AJ appreciate it.

So he called me today and while I was on the phone with him he pulled the screen off and there was some metal in the screen. I told him get a shortblock from chris, and call it a day! No good y series oil pumps! 190K+ on a y8 im supprised it hasent eaten its own bearings sooner. Check your oil press, and I bet its low. :-*

The screen wasn't that dirty at all. It had a tiny amount of flakes. Im guessing from my old turbo that took a shit. The solenoid had fresh oil in it, so hopefully my oil pump isnt going out. Gonna test soon. Ill post up the details.

Finally got around to installing oil gauge.
20 psi at warm idle, around 70 psi at 3000 rpms, and 75 psi at 5500 rpms.
When we were on dyno it was changing maps. Any ideas?

Your last post you said you're gonna just hotwire the solenoid, right? If so, that's what I would do if it's just a 1 wire on/off deal. Power it on and see iif it works. That alone will tell you if it's the vtec system that's messed up or if it's something else causing the ECU to not turn it on.

Sort of, the IGN fuse was blown, but some nigger pushed the points back together instead of getting a new fuse. So needless to say my vtec is working again, and I need a retune. Prob gonna drop vtec to around 4k so it spools the hoslut up faster. Will keep you nogs updated

both, but as long as the bar bolts to the strut towers who gives a fuck. I would rather save $200 and not buy one that fits perfectly, but fab something up that will take 10 mins to do
