Title: dude pulls a cop over
Post by: 97Econobox on May 29, 2009, 07:22:01 AM
I didnt watch the whole thing but like 25% in he starts really chasing this cop like about the 60% mark he actually pulls the fuckign cop over by honking at him and flashin lights for like a mile lol.  apparently cop blew by him at 90 cause they're cops they do what they want and dude was having none of that shit.  Best part is the Cop sorta was nervous as hell.

85 mph? come to atlanta where we cruise down the highway doing 90 on the regular.

i dont go that fast, but i heard of people pulling cops over and the cops simply say " is there a problem?"

to which they answer " nah, you where just speeding so i decided that if you can do it, so can i"

I like in the article how they wrote how the cop was doing 85mph down the highway, in a car that does 90mph with ease. LOL

In Jacksonville you get honked at if you do less than 85mph down the highway unless you're in a van.

In california we get to 40 mph sometimes and it takes 2 hours to travel 40 miles

I was coming onto the highway from an offramp, where the speedlimit was 55.  I got up to speed, and marged.  The offramp was around a walled curve, and I see a car quickly approach my rear after I merged.  He's in the right lane, tailgating, and puts his high beams on.  I politely slowed back down to the speed limit.  After a few more seconds of riding my back bumper, blue lights come on (it was night) and I get pulled over.

He asks why I pulled in front of him, I told him I was at the highway speed and had to merge before the lane ends, and that I was already in the lane before I could see his car flying around the corner...told him I didn't expect a car to come around the curve going so fast and I didn't really have any other option anyway.  He searches me.  Has me sit in his car.  Goes to my friend and starts questioning him, looks through the car, comes back and asks me more questions, why are my eyes red (I had just drove 6 hours the night before and barely slept, contacts dry), checked my fingernails, made me follow his faggot flashlight, blah blah blah.  My friend said he was asked if I had been drinking, and if my friend felt "safe" riding with me, that he would give him my friend a ride home, trying to get him to say something to get me in trouble.

Ended up letting me go, because there was no fucking reason to pull me over.

Didn't find the tobacco pipe in my sock :D

No, wasn't ON DRUGS.  I had a pipe on me, put it in my sock.  I was in another state, would have been felony since I had crossed state lines.  Nothx.

And yes the situation was really as I told it, fucked up.  Basically he was driving much faster than he should have, got pissed that I was "in his lane," and probably pissed that I had slowed from 65mph down to the 55mph speed limit (was being a dick, didn't know it was a cop), and ultimately had nothing he could cite me on.  I had my license, insurance, no warrants, used turn signals.

I don't hate cops because I've had some that let me go when I don't think I deserved it, but this particular case really pissed me off.

There was a guy in either Scottsburough or Guntersville AL a few  years back that a cop came to the red light and flipped on his lights, went through, then cut them off. So he follows him to a restaurant. Get's out demands the guys ticket book. Commanding officer gets called and lets the citizen write him a ticket. Goes to court and the judge made him pay for running a red light lol

Funny vid.  90 isn't fast, its a daily commute for many people.

Rural sheriff = lots of area to cover, little time.  Don't know what his reasons were, Doughnut sale on the east end?

Dude's scared shitless to hit 100? How the fuck does he get in people's heads?  Sounded like he was as nerous as the cop.

Needs to happen more often.  They have a job to do, needs to be more punishment when they abuse the authority.

Got a couple of friends back home who are decent cops. They said running code through a light, or speeding off code  there resulted in being fired that night if someone caught you.

I finally got around to watching the video last night and yeah the guy was annoying as hell.  I can tolerate cussing, but there's a certain point where you just make yourself sound like a moron, and he went way past it.

Wish I would have thought about it, but was too worried about my own ass since I had paraphernalia on me.

I've come to the conclusion that everyone that says "everyone around here drives 90+ mph" is a liar.  No matter where I go, what highway, right lane has people going +/-5mph of the speed limit, middle lane has people going speed limit or less than 10mph over, and the left lane 5-15mph over.

Every day on interstate 565 (which doesn't cross any state lines ???) I go 85mph on the way to work, and I get passed by at least a few people.

Every time I go to Georgia or Birmingham, I drive 85mph on interstate 65, and I get passed.

What makes no sense is Hwy 72 just ends and becomes I-565 which ends at the belt line. Then some way across town University Drive turns into 72 and comes all the way to Florence. That shits retarded

I have to get 30 minutes outside of Asheville, but that's how a lot of places are.  There's always somebody running 80-90 through Charlotte, or on some of the main highways.  bigwig needs to experience some hot sweaty ATL or Birmingham traffic, he'd pee himself.

Haha yeah 72 is fucked up as hell.  I still haven't really figured it out :P

One time coming back from Georgia, stoned outta my skull, I got lost crossing back into Abalamala when the street zig-zags through a town with hardly any streetlights and weathered, barely readable streetsigns.  I realized I was lost after crossing the same mountains a few times, and ended up getting lost as fuck at 2am in the middle of nowhere in Alabama.  I happened to come across 72 and followed that back to the ville.
