McD's meat is made with extra salt AND they salt both sides before tossing it on the double sided grill.
Only 1 side is salted on the grill after it's cooked.
Get big mac sauce on it, really helps.
This.
Every McD's will taste differently all depending on if the kid cooking the meat gives a shit about cooking it like it's supposed to.
I work there.
Some tips:
-ask for fresh meat whenever you eat there. There is no guarantee the meat that's about to go on your sandwich hasn't been there for over an hour. We're supposed to throw meat out after a certain amount of time, but we either get lazy and don't give a fuck or we just forget cus we're busy with other orders.
-McChicken+swiss cheese. It's awesome.
-Ask for fresh fries if you go when it's slow, and ask light salt. The tub where the fries sit is soaked with salt.
Even though I work there and get 50% discount, I go next door to Subway. Now that I know how food is made there and how often the fryers and grills get cleaned...I won't eat there. It's pretty gross.
