Idk.  The PKM I played with tonight is similar (I think) and it ran the big boy cartridge.  NV optic+PKM=height of Romanian military muscle.

5.45 Is the most fun and  coincidently the cheapest to shoot!
  You can't beat $280. For a case of 2,160 rds specially in an FA rifle


And The only Grand I have is the one my GF's grand pappy brought back from the Korean war
