Found this cluster for $190.. sounds a little steep when I think about it, but I've wanted one since Mark Lamond first reverse engineered it. I still need the speedohealer box to fix the speedometer..

btw, you can check my eBay feedback and you'll see I bought it there.. whether it's stolen or not, I can't say it's not because I didn't buy it from Honda.

I got shot 3 times and spent 2 months in the hospital on life support. It was self defense but I still got 2 attempted murder charges. I have only been free for the last 2 years.

god dammit.. speedohealer converts the speedo signal to digital so the cluster shows the proper speed.. I found one for 35 on ebay, by the time I figured out it would work (same day) the auction ended. now it's back to $100 for just a converter!

on a better note, to anyone doing this swap: 25ohm potentiometer (sp?) fixes the fuel gauge.. I just filled the tank and turned it until it shows a little under full, then slightly turn until it shows full again. fuck yeah  ;D

The only time I would bother with that is if I had a S2k and it needed replacing.

make sure you get  a speed healer v4 the 3 will not work and you will need the ect converter from modifry if you want coolent temp to work. i think it was 160$

if it's linear, which most sensor algorithms are, then either method should work.

I've never seen a linear thermistor.  I know Maxim makes an IC that outputs a linear voltage as temp signal.

But they're either overpriced (for accuracy) or have a shitty insulating plastic package. I don't think the sensors I got were Maxim anyways.



I'll be doing shit like this swap after I break 12's with street tires. Nowadays not-go-fast mods for Hondas only impress trailerpark whores and 16-26yr old males. Now that I think about this, maybe it is a good mod for you.
