in my spare time (at work of course) ive been trying to grasp tuning with tunerpro + obd1 bmw

 from what i read so far, basicly, i load a definition file for my engine/ecu/dme whatever,  load a basemap in tunerpro, then using an emulator with tracing like ostrich is probly easiest,  i download the map to the dme/ecu and basicly fuckaround and watch what cells its reading as it idles, part throttle, full throttle etc,  and make changes (to the groups of cells its reading all at once?)    and watch the wideband and try to target 14.7 and full throttle and little leaner at idel and part throttle ?  is that the just of it ? is that just tuning fuel? or am i stupid and not even close...

also shit like the lm1, why does it display lambada and afr ? arent they the same read in a differnt way/number ?

i learn everyting from the internet and youtube  my friends no nothing about cars or anything other then getting fucked up and getting fat chicks pregnant so im on my own with this shit as usual, and i dont like my other options for this car,  figure it might as well die at my own hands and learn a thing or two this time

Since I have halfway tuned my truck with tunerpro, I consider myself an expert with it. Lol

You pretty much have the just of tuner pro. Sounds like you have somethings to learn about what engines want though.
