choosing pipe bender...help!
« on: October 31, 2013, 11:42:10 PM »

Hi guys! im looking for a pipe bender, im between JD 32 model and Pro Tools 105 Heavy duty, i think JD32 looks harder/thicker, and i like that but i dont know about pro tools 105 one, ive watched some videos and looks great too, what do you think about both machines? What about JMR1000?

Thanks!

I have a JD2 model 3 and I have bent 1/4" wall tubing in it and didn't break it. I have an air/hydraulic conversion I made for mine. Works very well.

excuse the shitty welds. I was pressed for time.

really nice work! do you can use protools dies on JD 32 model? Confirm that please, since supplier told me only JMR and Protools can be interchangeable.

 THanks.

i have a www.probender.com one.  what i like most about it is that it can be moved around on wheels and doesn't need to be bolted to the floor.

bendpro software makes figuring out bends a snap as well.

I like how it uses the floor as a leverage point. I've always thought the sideways benders were pretty retarded.

Air/Hydraulic I made for mine.

Don't mind the sloppy welds I just threw it together.

Some cheap chinese import. Harbor Freight was out of stock so I ordered this one. I think it was around $80.
