what other shocks can you use on EF?
« on: April 10, 2009, 01:35:36 PM »

we are talking about REARS today.

so can i use EG or EK ones? i know EK's are narrower right? so i would probably need to grind the bushings? this is going on my Wagovan so ghettoness isnt a real concern, as long as its safe/legit in cool. (was told that EF ones where close)

wago fronts are close to the hatchs.

the rears are goofy and dont really interchange with anything but wago shit.

eg suspension in ef jacks the car up big time. it will work, but makes it look goofy as fuck.

Yea i didn't know that the eg stuff on ef's make it sit up high but when i swapped the koni/skunk2 setup off my friends car i had to use the eg front lower strut horn and now my ef sedan sits like a 4x4. Good thing it's only temporary untill i put the koni/skunk2 on my eg hatch

Never seen an EF, how do you guys come by all this rare shit??

FYI, EJ hatch rear shocks appear identical to ED (as in I have to cut one open before I can call it identical, anyone else WOULD call it identical), except the lower 'hoop' that goes over the LCA is 1/2" longer with the bolt hole biased that 1/2" lower down.  A quick comparo between ED and EH is also highly revealing.
