Solid Cel- OBD2b - OBd1
« on: July 27, 2013, 05:22:06 PM »

Hi, im boosting and D14Z2 OBD2B, installed D16z6 head, had to make conversion for install resistor box and Prelude 325cc injectors, the dizzy just dissambled everything and put the Z6 case on it so not harness needed, had to make iat conversion, idle conversion too. ok, i got a used Ecu harness , plugged and i get solid cel, ecu is working good in other cars so ecu is ok, i think problem could be the ecu harness but my question is if there are another things that could cause solid cel ? any help will be appreciate a lot.

I just tested the stock OBD2b ECu and cel didnt light..i assume could be conversion i did of injectors/resistor box and rest of sensors , correct?

Thanks in advance!

what engine harness did you use again?

preferrably id use a d16y8 harness, then use the conversion harness to obd1. dizzy wise, if you used a z6 head you gotta have a z6 dizzy. repin it to the obd2 harness and be done with it. other than those things, this conversion should be easy. i want to go carbs. send me your shit......lol

i use OBD2B engine harness.. engine is D14z2 , just installed Z6 head, the dizzy im using only the D16z6 case, interior parts are from D14z2 engine, so plug is the same and not dizzy harness needed.
