Using intake cam as exhaust cam.
« on: April 12, 2010, 10:36:33 PM »

I'm fucking positive I read something about this, now can't find it, but anyway.

Have stock gsr cams.
Bought ctr intake cam.
gsr intake cam is very similar to ctr exhaust cam, and read somewhere that I could move the gsr intake cam to the exhaust side, and the ctr to the intake, giving me basically itr/ctr cams. What say you?

No, it was about the cams. I already have itr valve springs. This is why most itr cams sales say they won't sell the intake cam seperate?  ???

I didn't spend much on anything in hindsight, but I'm not sure what the body has to do with my home made lifestyle, nikkle.

I really don't see how it would be worthwhile if you could make it physically fit and figure out how to get it in time.

I guess if you were to hack off the distributor drive, then it could fit.

Some beat old fuck I knew that circle-track'd an integra told me something once along the lines of using two exhaust cams on a b18a (replacing the intake cam)  but dunno about your shit.  Maybe take it out and compare visually, and if it looks similar, throw it in and try turning the engine over by hand?  sounds risky
