IS300 Partout Thread
« on: December 14, 2015, 01:29:17 PM »

So, for starters, this will probably be parted out before finished. DONT GET YOUR FUCKING HOPES UP.

I sold off my AWD 5spd CRV and Turbo Integra and upgraded to an '04 5spd IS300.

I found it on Craigslist in DC. Drove 4.5hrs up to get it. This is the night I bought it:

Already had suspension and shit so I needed some wheels. Im broke as f and piecing a turdbo setup for this so this is what you get. FUCK YOU.

Then the good shit:

Turbo is a Garrett GT35R.

Manifold is CXRacing

Tial 44mm Gate.

Tial BOV.

Paid $300 for the Tial Shit.

Paid $300 for the manifold. Was BNIB.

Got the turbo for free. :)

So, who needs IS300 parts?

Shouldn't you post this in the for sale thread?

Only if you want to dump lots of money into it and make half the power then sure. Put a stock boosted lsx in there and make 700whp all day on pump gas. And be out less then 3k.

Goal for this project isnt how much power.

I want to keep as much of the OEM functions as possible with 500hp goal. So far, I am well under $3k. Total with trans swap, I should be around $3500-4000.

That thread was absolute gold.

I really like these, was trying to find one with not-stupid mileage and a manual before I got the subaru.  I want one with a 1UZ-FE.
