I Went to Letstalk.com to sign up for my free storm with 2 year contract. I was porting my wife's number from Tmobile. My credit report has a Fraud alert on it, so extra info is needed to extend me credit.
Ordered the storm phone over the interwebz. 2 days later, they call me for additional info. I recieve the Storm 3 days after that. When I went to activate it with verizon, it failed, so I called the number they gave me in the recording and dude told me keep the storm and they would give me a pearl for the new line. So, 3 days later, I have a pearl in my hands. activated it, then switched to a regular phone (BB has additional billing requirements) Put the storm on my line. Been 2 months now and nothings been said about the phone or any attempt to charge me.
Any idea if they could do anything if they caught the error? Apparently, its LetsTalk that gave me the phone.
