How can that turbo even get to 15psi with that downpipe? It's so freaking small for your displacement.
BTW just because a turbo spools slow because of the rest the setup, doesn't mean it's big. The compressor map is what tells you how much power it can possibly make, and there's nothing save for nitrous that can fix that. The GT17 is a small turbo, I've held one in my hand. I think D15's have larger exhaust valves than the GT17's turbine exducer. Porting the inlet of the turbine HOUSING does very little, as it's all of 3% of the problem.
Other than the baby turbo, looks pretty good. Judging from the FMU, you've come a long way. Sorry to see some nog cut your shifter lever in half, that sucks.
The downpipe is 2.5 inches all the way. That's what the turbo's exhaust port was designed for. I will be opening it up to three inches one day soon.
A/R ratio is .48 on exhaust and .49 on cold side.
Here's what the exhaust side used to look like, just so others know.
I will say though, it pulls great torque.
And onto the shifter; I cut it short; I know, it looks gay or W.E. shoulda bought a forbidden one, but hey, I shortened the throw too, and not with one of those cheesy ching chong adapters.
