I went to hotwire years ago and got 5 nights 4 days in Excaliber which is literaly next door to tropicana, MGM, luxor, New York New York.  It was 550 per person round trip with hotel included. i think i set aside like 800 total or somewhere close but i ended up wining on Slots funny enough.  30 here 60 there and then last night there i hit like 400 someodd bucks.  day after i got home i tokk all that cash and stuck it back int eh bank and i was within 10 bucks of before i even bought the ticket.

I think im the only person i know thats been to vegas and literaly broke dead even. trip included.

Only advise is first form a money system.  I set aside like 100 a day or something like that and stuck it in my pocket and had no intention of getting any more or bringing any of that money back to the hotel.  Made the experience easier to deal with and more fun.  Secondly go for as long as you can the hotels are amazing, we were there for 4 days and never even saw grand canyon, or Old vegas that you see in the movies.

  I do, but then I don't gamble whatsoever. The most fun you can have not gambling is hitting all the good pools, eating buffet, and wandering around things that are closed, like the boxing ring at caesars palace. It's fun to see all the hyped up shit when nobody's there.

That kind of night was more fun in Vegas for me than clubs,etc.



I lived there for 2 years so if your just going for the weekend people will most likely want to do the whole club,dressed up deal which is never cheap.

the club deal is fucking overrated. unless you enjoy 20$ drinks and not being able to sit down anywhere. doing rails of blow with random girls on the tram on the way back to your hotel room at 5 am is not, however.

I highly suggest hanging out in old vegas, fremont area. Alcohol is way cheaper, more active... however there is less ass. More grandma ass actually...
