As for mixing friends and business, I offer to help locals on a regular basis and I even sent a gasket to some guy I didn't even know for just the cost of shipping so he could have a gasket made. I'm not saying I wouldn't make friends, I just didn't start a business to make friends.

Thing is, the oil restrictor I bought will screw in about 1/2 way then start to get tough. Iâ€™ve looked over the threads and it looks kosher, but it isnâ€™t.

Could be I didn't think of that. But its a t3 turbo... it should be 1/8 npt.

I agree, or it just wasn't tapped deep enough. I have only installed 2 of these turbos myself, one used flanged restrictor and the other one is on my own car with an npt/-an fitting. It went in fine

I'm really starting to think it just wasn't tapped deep enough. What if I send you a 1/8" pipe thread tap? Would that fix the issue for you? It's not your responsebility to fix it, but it seems silly to ship it all the way back when it can be fixed in just a few min.

True. Im thinking of just buying a t3 inlet flange. What do you think? Then I won't have to tap shit

That would work too. The turbo should have come with a gasket for it.

I'm on my phone so it's a pain in the ass to look back, but is that fitting you have a restrictor too or just a fitting? If it's not a restrictor then you need something anyway.

negative sir. i was one of the first banned after the takeover. after i was banned, he called me about getting back in. i talked to him for a good 20min on the phone and he seemed like an ok guy and that he wanted to keep the same HMT feel. he did not deliver. that is all i ever said

here, i even found my post. copy/pasted with no editing. this was a day or two after i talked to him when i still had hope.

I have most of Dave Barret's DIY linear TIG logic reduced to a single CPLD. I never got around to building an H-bridge, etc, to play with.
