It's not only about warming, it's also about pollution and waste. If it need more taxes to wake up the fucking stupid population and industry, then so be it.

Otherwise, continue to wash you driveway with water hose and to drive your Hummer to buy milk at 2 minutes walking of your home. Like that you're sure to fuck up the life of you children in the future. 


They raise the taxes on anything that pollute to decrease the number of worthless truck that pollute on the road. OK, you need your Hummer to go to work.

I'm not going to get involved with in depth analysis of this bullshit. My opinion doesn't mean anything anyways, none of ours does.

One thing i will say though, for how much our government "cares" about global pollution and global warming and is willing to shove taxes down our throat to try and stop it, WHY don't they lead by example?

EXAMPLE
Every base here in Iraq (and im sure Afghanistan etc) Burns all of there trash, all day and all night.
We walk through a thick black haze of burnt chemicals, tires and anything and everything else, DAILY.

I have people here that are literally coughing up blood when they run outside or are outside for extended periods of time, not to mention our fucking Maintainers that work on our broke ass planes 24/7 being sick all the time and coughing up blood, Why should our government make us "care" or "tax" us in order to fix this, or shove these bullshit bills down our throats and put on a front that they care when they won't even do what they can to fix our own issues ?

Historically, overspending began with Reagan and was maintained by the Republicans.  Clinton did a little of it his first years but balanced the budget, or close to, the last two or three years.

Obama, however, has blown the Republican overspending out of the water by an order of magnitude.


Just goes back to the two party system is a piece of shit.  Same thing our parents knew at our age.

Clinton did a little of it his first years but balanced the budget, or close to, the last two or three years.

this is wrong. it was a republican congress. bill clinton fought it tooth and nail the entire time. president has little control over budget when the opposing part controls congress.
