CROME error message?

as if im not uber pissed off to begin with on this car, every time i open, or even install/reinstall CROME i get a "I/O 103 error" when opening it and it wont show bins at all, get fuckin jibberish...  :evil: :evil: :evil:

wtf? anyone provide some insight?

doesnt seem to matter which one i use... have uninstalled every piece of crome i can find on my computer and am just running the "1.5" version now. but doesnt matter cuz after one use the fuckin thing doesnt work again, and wont even load the map i created in that version...  :evil:

What ever user your logged into probly has read only checked under the security measures. uncheck it

Therein lies your problem.

As mentioned above, you need to edit the permissions for the user account you are trying to run CROME under.

Lol.  My noobishness with Vista is showing here.

Go to the Crome folder, right click, properties, security.

Then you can edit permissions.  Set permissions to full control.

omg, thats ragingly homosexual... ok its setup to let all users have full access. but still i get the error. but if i just right click it and login as admin, or whatever, it opens just fine, lets me edit or whatever i want to do. also shows me all the maps i have peviously been seeing as jibberish...

so problem solved? and vista = homo

I just bought a brandnew laptop to do some tuning with. Its running windows 7 and I cant fucking use crome or turbo edit. it wont let me change shit. I get errors with both programs. Its like I have a fucking mac! >:( Should I just use my old install disc for xp?
