Rumour has it that Beau (BlackSi) helped some kid build his EW4 for boost. Anyone know how to get a hold of him? I got a lot of questions concerning my turbo build.

Please enlighten me on what you know about valve pad contact issues on 74mm pistons from another motor being swapped into a 12v Ew4? I'm gonna go ahead and assume nothing.

correct pistons have weak ring lands. they don't hold up well under boost.

hi. I thought about that route but I got an absolutely perfect Ew4 (torn down and magnafluxed) and so far I have next to nothing invested in this car. I'd rather just throw 10lbs @ it w/ some decent pistons and call it done.

I didn't tell you last night but I spent all of yesterday hanging out with the 1G/3G guys and totally forgot to ask.  I just sent off one text, and one email, and later I'll netsearch.  We will see what we will see.
