This shit is grubben. It will feed about 4-5 hungry :somb: You need a big ass cast iron pot or dutch oven for this too. I havn't seen a crock pot that is big enough yet.
Ingredients
1 4-5lb shoulder, bottom round, or any other big ass chunk of beef
2 cups of ketchup
1 cup brown sugar
Your favorite beef rub
1 bottle or can of beer
4-5 potatoes
bunch of celery
3-4 big carrots
Onion
1tbs minced garlic
2 cans of bisquites
Start by rubbing your meat, not that meat douchbag, were cooking here. Cover it generously with your favorite rub. Otherwise you can use some garlic powder, seasoning salt, paprika, pepper, blah blah blah. Whatever you got.
Next start heating up the dutch oven. Toss a scoop of lard in the bottom.
Now, toss your beef in there. You want to brown it on both sides pretty good.
Once you have it browed, turn the heat way down. Looking for around 250ish. Pour in your beer, brown suger, garlic, catsup and then cover it up for about 1 1/2 hours on low.
After an hour an a half, open it back up. It should look about like this.
Now, cut up all the vegitabls and toss them on the top. I then squirt a bunch of Worcestershire sauce and some seasoning salt on top. Then cover it back up.You'll want to cook it for another hour with the veggies.
After they have been in there for an hour, pull it back out again. Go ahead and crank the heat up now to around 400. take your buisquites and spread them across the top. I didn't have enough to cover mine. You want to be able to cover the hole top. Once the buisquites are on, toss it back in the oven with the lid off. Once the buisquties are done its time to grub!
